Coati Foraging Ferns - Paint by Numbers Kit

A ringed tail curls above the ferns like a striped question mark, drawing the eye straight to the russet-coated coati nosing through fallen leaves on the forest floor. This piece captures a quiet foraging moment in the undergrowth of Arenal Volcano National Park, where the animal's long dark snout and banded tail stand out against the cool, green-filtered daylight filtering down through the canopy.

The palette leans earthy and soft, warm browns and russets against layered fern greens and shaded soil, with the coati's ringed tail arcing upward as the single graphic accent in an otherwise low, textured scene. Broad, fan-shaped fern clumps fill the space in graduated tones, giving the composition large, legible shapes that translate beautifully onto the pre-printed numbered canvas.

Whether you're new to paint by numbers or a seasoned hobbyist looking for a rainforest subject with real character, this kit rewards patience with a richly layered result. Costa Rica's biodiversity comes through in every ringed stripe and fern frond, making it a fitting gift for anyone who loves national parks or jungle wildlife.

Settle in, pick up your brush, and let this coati's forest floor come together one numbered section at a time.
